Demonstration in Kikar Sefer on September 1, 2024 after it was discovered that Hamas had murdered 6 captives who had been in their hands since October 7, 2023. Demonstration for a deal with Hamas to return the rest of the abductees who are still alive. The murdered are: Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Uri Danino, Almog Sarosi, Carmel Gat, Alex Lobanov.   Hanay, CC BY-SA 4.0 <https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0>, via Wikimedia Commons

"The six hostages were killed at point blank range a day or two before the army reached the tunnel."
This is an assertion from the IDF who have murdered Israeli captives who were waving a white flag, hollering for help in Hebrew. There is zero independent verification of the claim. Families were apparently not present at autopsies. The claim should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

Facts: there was a firefight in the tunnel between the IOF and Hamas fighters guarding the hostages. After the firefight, 6 Israeli hostages were dead. We know from October 7 and from the IOF killing three escaped Israeli soldiers in December that the IOF has a shoot-first operating policy.
Israeli soldiers likely shot indiscriminately down the tunnel, killing all of the Hamas fighters and the Israeli captive soldier.

We have not seen a single credible internationally validated account as what truly happened to the six hostages.
The Israeli version of the event sound like the 100 raped women and the 40 beheaded babies lies, which was debunked. 11 months after the start of the war, Israel produced zero evidence to substantiate its bogus claim. Trust me, Crime Minister Netanyahu and the IOF lie through their teeth to cover up their crimes and incompetence during the war.

My response to people who attack Hamas for the death of 6 hostages: One of the most pervasive and insane lies of the past few decades is that Hamas fighters were engaged in a mass rape of hundreds of Israeli women and the beheading of 40 babies as well as backing babies in the oven. The ugly truth is Palestinian lives and death are meaningless to most Israelis.

Here what we know for sure about the six dead hostages:

* Very recently, Hamas fighters left one of the hostages behind after the IOF was closing in. Why was he not executed?

* At first the IOF claimed the hostage was freed in a daring operation after a heaving firefight.

* Later the IOF backpaddled what happened and said the hostage was free in a complicated operation (whatever that means).

* Two days ago, the freed hostage and his family were under gag order by Israeli court not to give interviews.

* The UN has confirmed that the Hannibal Directive has been employed by the IDF into a building in the colony of Be'eri when they knew there were Israeli hostages in, killing 13 of them and their captors. The Hannibal protocol instructs IDF soldiers to shoot Israeli hostages rather than risk having them kidnapped.

* After all, if you just kill the hostages, you won't be sent into a risky battle to rescue them down the road.

* Likewise, if you don't care about the lives of hostages during a military operation, you can use overwhelming force at minimal risk of personal harm.

* It seems like the hostage's lives are a small price "Israel" has to pay for all of the murders of over 50,000 Palestinians, the total destruction of Gaza and much of the West Bank where over 600 have been murdered since October 7.

* The IOF is currently terrorizing much of the West Bank by imposing a collective punishment and attacking civilian infrastructure.

* All the crimes committed by the IOF have no accountability for the unconditional backing of the US and other Western governments.

* Millions of people around the world and in "Israel" are outraged and protesting on Crime Minister Netanyahu’s policies and actions and demanding an end to the Gaza genocide and for him to accept a ceasefire and hostage swap deal immediately.

At this point, it doesn't matter how the six hostages died. What does matter is that the fault of their deaths lies squarely at the hands of the Israeli Prime Minister. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I agreed with former President Trump, but he was spot on when he slammed Harris and Biden for the six hostages' death in Gaza, telling them, "They have blood on their hands." At the times the Biden Administration was expressing concern over the hostage's safety, the US was providing "Israel" nonstop with bombs, intelligence, and political cover. In essence the US was a complicit in the war that killed much more than just the six hostages.

"Israel" understands nothing but force, but diplomacy has always worked out better and produced a series of prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas that was negotiated by Egypt and Qatar. Last November, Hamas freed 105 civilians, which included 81 people from "Israel," 23 Thais, and one Filipino. In return, Israel released 240 Palestinian hostages, 107 of whom were between 14 and 17 years old, and three-quarters of whom had not been convicted of a crime although some were awaiting trial in a military court.

Another reason why Netanyahu is not eager to sign a deal that would end the war and free the 10,000 Palestinian hostages held in Israeli concentration camps where recent reports confirmed that prisoners were routinely tortured, raped, and several were murdered as a result.

Let's not forget that Netanyahu's son Yair Netanyahu, 33, is still hiding in Miami since April 2023 and is protected by Shin Bet (the Israeli intelligence service) at an estimated annual cost of approximately 2.5 million Shekels (684,250 US dollars). Basically, Netanyahu doesn't have to worry about sacrificing his son in a war he wishes to prolong.

According to recent report by Jerusalem Post, Ditza Or, the Israeli mother of hostage Avinatan Or made a brilliant suggestion to Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. "I suggest you return the 109 hostages and, in return, receive only five hostages," she said. Or offered to exchange the five children of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Ronen Bar, Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, and Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon for all the hostages. I wonder why skipped "Little Bibi" Yair Netanyahu?

In the final analysis, as Hamas Al-Qassam Military Brigade spokesman Abu Obaida put it, “Netanyahu and the IOF alone bear full responsibility for the deaths of the captives, as they deliberately obstructed any prisoner exchange deals for narrow interests in addition to intentionally killing dozens of them through direct airstrikes. Netanyahu's insistence on freeing the captives through military pressure instead of making a deal will mean their return to their families in coffins."
