Despite the twitter promise of Tyrant Trump to release the remaining files on the JFK assassination as prescribed by law made 25 years ago, evidently the CIA got to him at the 11th hour, causing him to accede to their demand to keep the incriminating documents secret for another 6 months while they are scrubbed and redacted. With varying degrees of certainty the community of scholars who have spent years studying the facts around the political assassinations of the 1960's have long ago come to the conclusion that JFK was killed by the National Security State (CIA and the Military).

For the uninitiated, Kennedy was at war with the National Security State. The CIA attempted to mousetrap him into supplying air support at the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba, but he refused, to their surprise. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Joint Chiefs of Staff lobbied for a nuclear first strike against the Soviets, but Kennedy refused. We know this from tape recordings and minutes of the meetings, which were released in the 1990's as a result of the JFK Records Act. The military also presented Kennedy with the Operation Northwoods proposal, which was a plan to create terror attacks on Americans in order to justify invasion of Cuba. This plan was rejected by Kennedy. In June of 1963, John F Kennedy gave his famous Peace Speech at the commencement at American University (watch it here) in which he called for an end to the Cold War. The Vietnam War was a proxy war in support of the Cold War. Kennedy refused to fight the Vietnam War as demonstrated by National Security Action Memorandum 263 (NSAM 263) in which he ordered withdrawal of American troops by the end of 1963. NSAM 263 was reversed by Lyndon Johnson (NSAM 273)during the weekend following JFK's Friday assassination, before his body was cold.

John F. Kennedy had fired Allen Dulles as director of the CIA over the Bay of Pigs invasion, as well as Charles Cabell, whose brother was Mayor of Dallas and also in the employ of the CIA. General Curtis LeMay, General Lyman Lemnitzer, and other members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, were open in their hatred of Kennedy and his antiwar policies. J. Edgar Hoover and Vice President Johnson also despised Kennedy. The best evidence so far points to former CIA director Allen Dulles as orchestrating the assassination, with General LeMay controlling the autopsy. The Warren Commission relied on both the FBI and CIA for it's investigations. Needless to say, the CIA failed to implicate itself in the murder of the President at that time and still farther into the future. David Talbot's book “The Devil's Chessboard” and James Douglas's book “JFK and the Unspeakable” are excellent resources for anyone wishing to learn about the motive for the murder.

The American public will now be bombarded by propaganda from the mainstream media. They will trot out the usual experts, Philip Shenon, Larry Sabato, the discredited Gerald Posner, and the new younger mouthpiece Bob Baer, among others. The comments in support of the Oswald Lone Nut Fantasy from the likes of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, Sean Hannity, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Joe Scarborough and the like are predictable. These people are not willing to give up their careers. As Upton Sinclair once said “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” There are many examples of people sacrificing careers because they refused to believe the JFK assassination myth, including Mort Sahl, John Barbour, and the great New Orleans prosecutor Jim Garrison. Others, such as Dorothy Kilgallen were killed while investigating the facts around this monstrous crime.

This mini coverup begins with the fact that CNN (etc) claims they are withholding only 300 documents. In fact, tens of thousands of documents, possibly as many as 30,000, remain sealed at the National Archives. This includes 3147 "withheld in full" records never seen, and an unknown number of redacted documents estimated at about 30,000. The truth is that the most-desired records were held back. Still withheld-in-full records among the 98% of those not released include, for example:

• Still-withheld Church Committee interview transcripts not included in the 1990s releases, including one with none other than CIA CounterIntelligence chief James Angleton.

• Lengthy CIA files on officers who played a role in Castro assassination plotting and/or the JFK story, including William Harvey, David Philips, E. Howard Hunt, James O'Connell, Richard Synder, and several others.

• A 167-page CIA document on Valeriy Kostikov, the Soviet agent stationed in Mexico whose name was used as part of the "World War III" scenario that the Warren Commission we now know was created to push back against.

The documents will strengthen the evidence for the fact that the National Security State killed JFK for the reasons described above. The documents still withheld are records of William Harvey, James Jesus Angleton, David Atlee Phillips (aka Maurice Bishop), David Morales, and especially John Johannides. These are names of CIA employees who were directly involved in the planning and execution of the assassination but it is an abbreviated list.   We would have also learned from the document release details of Oswald's alleged trip to Mexico City.  It appears Oswald was impersonated in his visits to the Cuban and Russian Embassies, and it is possible that he never went to Mexico City at all.

Although the community of researchers did not expect to get Oswald's tax returns or those of Jack Ruby, those documents exist. Both would be final nails in the coffin for the official myth, as both had income derived from the National Security State

Keep in mind the official story is that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin. The event is now 54 years in the past. Yet the National Security State cannot release the documents because... and this should be obvious... they are self incriminating.

By 1963, The CIA and Military Industrial Complex was no longer in its infancy but instead was growing into manhood. The public execution of JFK gave life to perpetual war, immoral killings, torture and untold human tragedy that is the hallmark of the American Empire.

 Tump may have given his subjects the opportunity to have a national conversation for 6 months, with a wider audience listening. Maybe the public will, with or without the documents, ask and answer this question from Jacob Hornberger: “Is the existence of the CIA consistent with the principles of a free society and a limited-government republic? With its willingness to assassinate on order, the answer clearly has to be no.  It's high time that the American people dismantled this dangerous threat to democracy, freedom, and limited government”.

Actually, the problem is that defenders of the lone-nut theory posited by the Warren Commission cannot accept the notion that the national-security state — an institution that was brought into existence to wage a “cold war” against America’s World War II partner and ally, the Soviet Union — an institution that lone-nut proponents are convinced is essential to their freedom and well-being — an institution under which they have all been  born and raised and that they’re convinced defends their “freedom” and keeps them “safe” — one that they idolize, much as a child idolizes his parents — got out of control and employed its omnipotent powers to remove what it perceived to be the biggest threat to national security since the advent of the national-security state in 1947 — a supposed threat posed by a president who had the audacity to reject the standard Cold War, anti-communist, nut-country mindset and instead pursue peaceful coexistence with the Soviet Union and Cuba, which, if he had been successful, would likely have led him to dismantle the national-security state apparatus itself, thereby restoring a peaceful and harmonious society to our land.”
